My preferred alternate explanation is that we’re so starved for decent RPGs these days that we’ll take shit on a shingle, and George Lucas is simply the happy beneficiary. We’re willing to sit through all this crappy SW license stuff for some reason obsessing about the color of our virtual lightsabers because that MF has pwnd us SO completely.
What I’ve always loved about the whole lightsaber color thing is how it demonstrates how we’re all George Lucas’ bitches.
